I met up with Wendy and Beau at Merritt’s Pasture in Chapel Hill on a very chilly January afternoon indeed! The pasture is quickly becoming a favorite for winter engagement sessions and it’s clear why — it’s still so green, even in the middle of winter! I was amazed at how lovely the trees still were.

there’s nothing to make you feel good about your job like an amazing client. Bri and Ian are all that and more. Brianna first reached out to me about their wedding this past January, and from the moment we chatted on the phone I knew she was going to be a fun client to work with! after their show-stopping engagement session this past February, I knew I was right — she and Ian are both so sweet and such a good time.

as much as I love weddings, I don’t have the time or the head-space to take one on for every single weekend, so on most of my free weekends I work as the second photographer for a wedding lead-photographed by one of my friends. I was lucky enough to be the second for this gorgeous wedding, led by my lovely friend Stephanie.
