there’s nothing to make you feel good about your job like an amazing client. Bri and Ian are all that and a bag of chips — or rather, a bowl of candy, which they did indeed have out during their Halloween-weekend wedding reception. Brianna first reached out to me about their wedding this past January, and from the moment we chatted on the phone I knew she was going to be a fun client to work with! after their show-stopping engagement session this past February, I knew I was right — she and Ian are both so sweet and such a good time.

their wedding this past weekend did not disappoint! nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, the new venue The View at Fussell Estate lived up to its name. Bri planned everything herself down to the smallest jewel-toned detail and Isabel at The Yellow Rose made sure everything on the day of ran smoothly. the DJ was Brianna’s dad, and their floral designer was Ian’s mom, but this was no shoestring affair — all the vendors, especially the parents, were superb.

Brianna and Ian, I am so happy to have been able to get to know you over this past year and even more pleased to have been able to document such a beautiful day for you. thank you so much for choosing me to be there with you!
