this session happened a hot second ago and I am so excited to share it with you! Deanna had a trial run of her hair and makeup so we took some bridal portraits at her gorgeous venue.

this was my second time working at the Barn at Valhalla in Chapel Hill. it’s always amazing to work there; the venue is just stunning.

I think a bridal session is a great idea, and not just because the photos always end up being so much fun and so lovely! it’s also a perfect time to test out your wedding day look and make sure you like how everything works together. it’s also great practice for how to move around your venue in your dress — especially if you have a big princess-style dress, it can be nice to know how it feels to maneuver the skirt around!
